Alright, I've thought about it a lot, tried to weigh the subject fairly, and come to the conclusion; my work is not to be used as a base without my written consent, for anything. Ever.

This became a subject rather strangely, my Jessica Darling piece was used as a "base" by another artist. She did credit me, and was very polite about the whole thing, so I have no hard feelings toward her at all(Plus, I suppose the nudity of the character DOES make her look like the average "base"). I'd never actually mentioned what uses my art COULD be put to before, I'd never thought it was good enough for it to matter. But from here on out, I suppose I'll be throwing a line into my artist statement about usage.

And really, I think I'd be alright with any requests for usage, as a base or in a collage, or whatever, as long as I was credited somehow. Just seeing it come out of left-field really shook me.

And I have to admit it inflated my ego a bit... >.<
